GYEMO came to Nousmedis with a clear need: to gain efficiency in the creation of its technical catalogs and pricing documents without sacrificing visual clarity, design, or usability. The solutions: How we automated an electrical product catalog

Rather than simply implementing a tool, Nousmedis approached the project of product catalog automation for electrical supplies as a full transformation process: from data structure to visual presentation.

1. Structured Data Model

A custom data model was designed to meet GYEMO’s needs, clearly defining data types (text, numbers, booleans, etc.) and creating hierarchies like categories, subcategories, and product variants. This allowed for a logical, scalable database structure within the selected PIM system.

2. Sales Layer integration and ERP automation

Sales Layer was implemented as a PIM (Product Information Management) system to centralize all product data. It was connected to GYEMO’s ERP, enabling automatic updates of product information, including prices and promotions. It was also integrated directly with the website to ensure real-time synchronization.

3. Standardized design and automated layout

Nousmedis developed flexible, standardized templates using EasyCatalog to automate catalog layout. This ensured a consistent presentation, reduced errors, and shortened production times. The GYEMO team was trained to manage data exports on their own, granting them full autonomy.

4. Web integration

A custom solution was created to link Sales Layer to GYEMO’s website, achieving real-time synchronization. As a result, both printed and digital catalogs pull from the same source of truth, ensuring total consistency.
